With the many issues that are constantly occurring in our world today, plus all our own personal hardships that seem to constantly arise, it is not uncommon for many of us to find ourselves overwhelmed with stress and anxiety, or trapped in the vicious cycle of depression and hopelessness, finding it difficult to see any sliver of light. If you find yourself feeling the same as so many others, you have made a great first step in seeking help from trained and qualified professionals.  We all need healing; we all need growth; we all need the relationships that help us grow; and most of all, we all need each other.  
I am a registered psychotherapist with a strong belief in restoration of human dignity and purpose; striving with my clients to restore hope to their lives.  I earnestly believe that everybody is entitled to dignity and self-respect, and I make it my aim to support all my clients through all the obstacles and hardships they encounter, so that together we can make positive changes that lead to growth and hope.
I truly feel that every individual is important, and not merely a diagnosis. Many times our difficulties become how we see ourselves, but you are not your depression or your anxiety; you are not your grief or your hardship; you are an unique person with your own purposes and needs and must be seen as such. I am not trying to simply treat your disease or illness, but to provide the support you need to make you feel like you again.
I am adept in using empathy, validation, active listening and genuine compassion to a develop strong and collaborative therapeutic rapport in a non-judgemental environment.
I provide individual therapy and crisis intervention. Depending on your specific need, purpose, I offer short term and long term, person centered and humanistic approach to psychotherapy to a diverse population, dealing with various issues and/or are in crisis situations.  Client can present with a variety of issues including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, workplace stress, relationship issues, interpersonal conflict, self-esteem, grief, suicidal ideation, domestic violence and more.  My therapeutic framework is an integrative one with experience in solution focused, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and Psychodynamic Theory.  I practice flexibility and take interest in learning and implementing different psychotherapeutic modalities to best serve your needs and preferences.
