In this model, once a staff member reaches a higher tier, the highest matched rate applies to all sales during the pay period.
Example: Tier 1: $0–$1,000 at 10%
Tier 2: $1,001–$2,000 at 15%
Tier 3: $2,001+ at 20%
If a staff member earns $2,500 in service sales, their entire sales amount is calculated at the 20% rate. Total commission: $500.
Tier-by-Tier Model
This model applies each commission rate only to the portion of sales within that tier.
Example: First $1,000 at 10% = $100
Next $1,000 at 15% = $150
Final $500 at 20% = $100
Total commission: $350
Both models are available inside Yocale and can be selected when setting up commissions per staff member.
